PES Penny Drive

During the month of April, the PES staff participated in our annual Penny Drive for the Adams Memorial Library, in Latrobe. Staff members raided their car cupholders, sock drawers, and other stash locations to contribute to the cause. The contributions went to the general donation funds for the library to use at their discretion.

The Latrobe Public Library was founded on September 1, 1927, originally on Spring Street in Latrobe. After massive expansion the library was moved to their current location on Ligonier Street in 1954. In addition to normal library services, the library also hosts a full weekly schedule of events for community involvement and interaction. To learn more about how you can assist in the library’s efforts you can check out their “support us” page HERE.

This was the second PES Outreach event of 2024 with planning already under way for the May event. Stay tuned for more updates on how PES tries to impact the local community.
